Erasmus IP Program | Ideas for Western Iberia

Na 4ª feira, dia 2 de Abril, estivemos em La Alberca para ouvir as ideias dos estudantes do Programa Erasmus Intensivo que, durante a semana passada, estiveram em Figueira de Castelo Rodrigo.

Depois de 2 semanas intensas com conteúdos teóricos, visitas a reservas naturais, conversas com empreendedores locais e descoberta do património cultural do Oeste Ibérico, os estudantes foram desafiados a pensar em novas ideias de negócio que possam ser implementadas, que permitam potenciar o desenvolvimento social, económico e natural da região.

As ideias, vindas de estudantes de 15 países diferentes, têm uma grande aplicabilidade no território e, se exploradas, podem vir a ser verdadeiros impulsionadores da economia local. De salientar a visão dos participantes do programa: é preciso trabalhar em conjunto, em rede, com os diferentes agentes do território. Empresários, produtores, gestores de unidades turísticas, ongs, governo local, devem juntar forças e trabalhar em parceria, para o desenvolvimento de um território cada vez mais rico em biodiversidade e apelativo turisticamente.

Last wednesday we were at La Alberca to listen the Erasmus Intensive Program Students' ideas, the ones that have been in Figueira de Castelo Rodrigo last week.

After 2 intensive weeks of theoretical workshops, visits to natural areas, talks with the local entrepreneurs and the discovery of the cultural heritage of Western Iberia, they were challenged to think about new business ideas that could be created in this region, in order to develop the social, economic and nature potential of this region.
The business ideas, that came out from 15 students from different countries, have a great appicability in this area, and if developed correctly, can be truly foster the local economy. Must notice the vision of the participantes: it is urgent to work together, networking, by gathering all different agents from this territory. Entrepreneurs, local producers, rural house managers, ngos, local government, should join forces and work as partners for the development of an area ever richer in biodiversity and much more interesting for tourists.
