Studying wage gap between men and women in Tunisia

Gender wage discrimination is a reality in the Tunisian labor market although little research has, so far, been carried on the phenomenon. We think greater involvement of specialists should contribute to identify this phenomenon and, thus, ensure policy measures to be both legitimate and effective to help reduce it. This paper aimed to estimate the dimension of gender wage discrimination using Oaxaca-Blinder decomposition, a technique that allows us to isolate wage gap due to different characteristics, from wage gap due to different treatment for observationally equivalent...

'The man be more of woman, she of man': Disfarce e Travestismo em The Princess de Alfred Tennyson

Can Madarassas be compared with RSS run Schools

Digvijay Singh's tweet 'Madrassas and Sarswati Shishu mandirs (SSM), both spread hate' (Feb 23 2017) has evoked lot of response from diverse sections. 'Myth, Reality and Ideal': Constructing Popular Memory of the Second World War through Post-war British Film and Television'

Do we study history in its pure, untouched state or is it fair to conclude that our learning of the past represent the product of myth and reality intertwined to produce an ideal recollection of events. Can we assume history represents nothing more than abstractions from the woven fabric of actual events? Of course, conversation on such a question is controversial; it is hard to reach a conclusion that all can agree upon. Yet through the medium of television and film productions, and through the context of recollections of the Second World War, one can begin to consider the validity of the...

Sport Management Graduates and the Expectations of the Sport Industry in Ireland.pdf

The purpose of this study is to identify the needs and expectations of the Irish sport industry for emerging sport management graduates. In comparison to more mature sport industries in countries such as the USA, the UK, Australia and...
